Invisalign® treatment begins with a consultation with Dr. Lares. Once determined that you are a candidate for Invisalign®, a model of your teeth will be created on the computer to provide a step-by-step customized plan. You will see a visual representation of what your teeth can look like upon completion of treatment. A new set of aligners will be given to you every 4-6 weeks, and you’ll wear the aligners for at least 22 hours per day. Each aligner gently shifts your teeth into position. The amount of time and number of aligners worn varies depending upon your plan.

One of our certified Invisalign dentists will assess your teeth to determine if Invisalign is suitable for you. Using our state-of-the-art Medit scanner, we'll create a precise 3D model of your teeth and gums digitally. We'll present you with a 3D model of your mouth, allowing you to visualize your potential new smile. The decision to begin your Invisalign treatment is then entirely up to you.
2. Schedule an attachment appointment
During this appointment, we'll apply small white fillings called attachments to the surfaces of your teeth to aid in the movement process with Invisalign. After placing these attachments, your dentist will ensure that your trays from the Invisalign company fit perfectly onto your teeth. We'll also go over the essential Do's and Don'ts to ensure the success of your treatment.
3. Just Wear Your Aligners
For optimal results, it's crucial to wear your aligners consistently, aiming for about 22 hours each day. Only remove them for eating, brushing, and flossing, as instructed by your Invisalign dentist. Remember, the effectiveness of Invisalign hinges on wearing these trays diligently as prescribed by our dental professionals for successful outcomes.
4. Wear your retainers
Once you're satisfied with the results, we'll provide you with clear retainers that you'll need to wear to maintain the straightness of your teeth and prevent them from shifting again.
